Hi.

Looking at purchasing some 22" wheels and tyres (GENUINE 22" RANGE ROVER ALLOY WHEELS STYLE 17 BLACK) from ebay.

Can i simply switch the TPMS sensors from my old standard 21" wheels to the new 22" wheels?

Car is only 9 months old with 9000 miles on so sensors should be in good newish condition, will they break on removal?

Ive seen that a new set of sensors is expensive.....

Would be great to have situation clarified.....

Yes.
No they shouldn’t break,but get someone to change them who know what they are doing,,if they over tighten them they can snap,also over tight can cause them to leak,,they only need to be 4-5nm when tightened. Andy.

I had to do the same when I bought some style 17s. Came with TPMS monitors fitted but caused me no end of trouble as 2 of them were not Land Rover. Eventually had to take the original TPMS from my 21s and get them fitted in my 22s. Cost me £80 and had no problems since
