On the way back from Birmingham airport this afternoon (3:30ish), we were passed by a Java RRS (HSE I think) doing approx 100mph being followed closely by a Police car - to begin with we thought the RRS was about to be stopped for speeding but before long we realised they were together (we followed closely in AMG55 stealth mode )

btw the driver of the RRS had a police hi-vis jacket on too - another reason we decided they were together |

I was overtaken by an AMG Merc doing 150+ last week on the M40... he wasnt stopping for anyone, not a good idea to do that speed on the hard shoulder... RRS TDV8 HSE - Hybrid TV - Sunroof - Adaptive Front Headlights - Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 system

You would normally have at least two police cars escorting Royalty. One in front, the other bringing up the rear. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Talking of being spotted..saw a RRS coming towards me today.....the only thing that caught my eye was the rather garish Tan leather interior

The only reason it was being followed by the marked car was so that they could turn on the flashing lights when the RRS broke down further up the road |
