Dear All, do you know how long does it take to have a new custom made RRS, given the chips issue in the market?
If there is a long delay, I am thinking to wait for the new RRS which will be out end of 2022.

I ordered the last day of June and picked it up at the end of November, so I would say 5 - 6 months.

Of course it depends on the spec.

As for the new model there is no reason at the moment to beleive lead times are going to get any shorter.
It will be more expensive and probably come with a new set of issues to be sorted on a regular basis.

Depends on spec, but rule of thumb is to hope for 6 months, plan for 9.

New RRS won't be 2022, it may be announced in the late part of the year - but no launch this year, and certainly no deliveries till 2023. Now

the dealer told me 180 days and my car has not many spec but I was worried on some posts were people got delays after delays because of the shortage of chips. on top of that, Covid does not help and dealers provide delivery dates which are not very realistic...

No Hud and no 360 camera. Only sunroof, upgrade on music system and iphone automatic charge....

Should be "normal" lead time then.

I would order and agree a delivery date, if it goes well past that then you have the option to cancel and wait for the RRS3. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled
