Sadly, now that my independent specialist of choice, Holgate Vehicle Services, has called it a day, I'm looking for any recommendations for a replacement. Has anyone used 'The Lanny Man' in St Helens, who seem to be the nearest to me? Although he's less than 6 miles from home (Ashton-in-Makerfield), there's no direct bus route, so it's a 3-mile walk followed by a 45-minute round the houses bus journey to get home, with a repeat trip to collect my vehicle. Ideally, I'd like a specialist who can either do a 'pick-up and drop off', or provide a courtesy car, as we're a one car, one driver household, but I'll put up with some inconvenience for a superior service. 2013 L494 5.0 SC in Chile Red

Answering my own post! Went with the Lanny Man in St Helens today for annual service and MOT. Well satisfied with the outcome. They are also registered with LR and able to upload service details onto the 'electronic; service book. 2013 L494 5.0 SC in Chile Red
