Bigger tyres catching off road

Hi everyone, wondering if anyone has had a similar problem to me when fitting bigger tyres to their sport.
Currently on 275/55/20 radar renegade rt tyres, and when off road, the rear drivers wheel articulates so much that it tucks the wheel into the arch, so much so that the car basically drags this wheel along until it can clear the arch again.

Has anyone had any similar issues? The car is lifted 40mm with the iidtool, modified the arch liners as much as possible and even cut back some of the metalwork behind, also fitted wheel spacers but they made no difference whatsoever

Thanks

Basically the tyres are too big. If you want to go down the route of fitting serious off road tyres, you need to look at fitting a smaller diameter rim as that allows a deeper sidewall without fouling the bodywork.

You'd be better off fitting an 18 inch rim (some are available to fit over the brakes) and then fitting an appropriate tyre on that e.g. 265/60/18 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
