Emission Warning Light

Hi All,

So as above the emissions warning light is on, on my MY06 Sport (North American spec) and I can't see what's wrong. I've had the fault codes read and checked with my IID Tool and nothing showing. I've checked that the petrol cap is tight and also disconnected the battery and shorted it to reset the car and the light still lights up orange....

Any idea what could cause this? I seem to remember the NAS Rovers had a fuel vapour recirculation system and if the tank was overfilled and fuel got into the system this would throw an error. Is this correct and if so how can I check and resolve the issue?

Thanks in advance

I thought it was something to do with cats over heating or worn out.

But we don’t have the light here
