TBH, I couldn't be bothered with all the faff that AndyK is talking about or a GVIV but I did want a stereo replacement, so I got a double din unit and a fitting kit from incartech.co.uk. The bonus is that the device I selected takes an input from an external camera (reversing) so I then essentially plugged that into the back of the DD unit and it works I cba with reversing sensor, so literally select it when I want to see behind me - again caveat as to number place light being off-set from centre for lining up towing items. Far simpler imho plus I've got the benefit of Apple Car Play

Yes , many thanks partly agree, I have a similar system in my Alfa GT and works well.

Just my budget is diminished at the moment , and I need something for seeing my tow bar I dont want to break that thin plastic strip running along beneath the towbar plugs. , using my trailer alot since buying this RR , and lots wrong so costs are high!

Should have kept my Vogue..
