SVR seats - any good?

I’m at the end of my tether with my HST factory order - no confidence it will ever materialise. I’d specced it high, including the 20 way massage seats … as bizarrely my wife and I both get bad backs on our frequent 2.5 hr trips to the Lakes in our AB.

An option I’m considering is cancelling my order and getting a very nearly new SVR. What are the seats like? I know there is no captain’s armrest, but have people found them better or worse than the regular chairs?

Oh, and they would have to be full ebony. I don’t particularly want to drive in a coal bunker, and the seats looks great two tone … but that steering wheel and gearstick Shocked Current: Cayenne GTS (got fed up with waiting for LR to build my third RRS)
On order: RRS3 510e AB
Gone: RRS SDV8 AB, RRS SDV6, Vauxhall Nova 1.0, Nova 1.3 SR, Nova 1.4 SRi, Renault Laguna (why?), BMW 318is coupe (fabulous - despite having to buy a radio and tape player for it from Halfords), 323i saloon, 325ti compact (superb), 320td compact (awful), VW Golf 2.0d 4Motion (all the car you really need), BMW 120d compact (excellent), 118d compact (slow), 335d coupe (rapid)

Hi, SVR seats are great 👍 came from an autobiography and no complaints. I don’t miss the armrest, too busy holding on 😂

I tested the AB seats against the SVR and found the latter more comfortable. The arm rests are too low on the RRS in my opinion to serve a purpose. You end up with your arm on the cubby lid. The SVR doesn’t have them and I’m glad. Good luck with your decision, I love my SVR I’d buy it again. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE

In all honesty, the SVR seats are not the comfortable sofa that the AB ones are..... but i love them and find them very comfortable. Even on long journeys! Now
