I have had my Hitachi air compressor replaced today after bouncing around on the good ship Rover for a week, after the old one died.

It works fine now, and does everything you would expect it to, the only small problem being when we get out of it and turn it off, as we are walking away it gives off a sharp sound of air being released like a dump valve for half a second. It doesn't go down though.

Did they forget to fit something? I can live with it but it didn't do it before. 08 TDV8

It is supposed to do that but if they forgot to connect the exhaust pipe to the compressor it will be louder than usual. 07MY RRS TDV6
