If its coming from the rear, I’ll bet my Sunday dinner on it being one of the handbrake shoes friction material breaking down. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

B P may be on to something there, I had a bit of a rotational noise when setting off coming from the rear nearside wheel. On stripping it down I found that the pin holding the shoe to the backplate had rusted and failed causing the shoe to be pulled into contact with the drum. New shoes, pads and disks later all fine. I fitted a set of new slider pins as well for good measure, which were cheaper from LR than other places I tried. |
