Auto windows not working

Hi guys,

I was having a problem today with my auto window on the drivers side.

It will go down automatically with one touch, but will not g back up with one touch.

I checked the fuses, removed them and replaced them, and nit both the driver and passenger windows are behaving the same - will go down by themselves but not back up

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

I had this too - dealer told me you have to reset them as below Thumbs Up

Quote:

Resetting one touch operation
If the battery is disconnected, becomes discharged or the power supply is interrupted, the one touch up window operation is disabled until the window position is reset.
To reset the window position:
1. Close the window fully
2. Release the switch, then pull up and hold the switch for one second.
3. Repeat the procedure on each window.

Big Pimp,

IIRC you need to re-programme the auto functions again.

This is done by simply starting the vehicle, push and hold the open window button until it fully opens, then pull and hold the close window button until it fully closes. Voila, the auto function for that window should be re-instated. Then do the same for the other.

Hope this helps. 2007 RRS TDV8 Stornaway Grey with lots of smiles..

Tried this method mate, and it didn't work.

Will try muddy's recommendation now though.

I’m pretty sure my rear windows used to have auto close off the drivers controls but now only the fronts go up with one press. Can anyone confirm that they should close on one press/lift of the switch? Car is 2012 AB. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Can someone confirm that one touch rear windows are not available on an 07MY poverty pack TDV6 - the one touch works fine on the fronts and manual on the rears but one touch has never worked on the rears.

Thanks
