I've just paid less than 1k for all 3 belts changing and a gearbox flush, that's a 8 speed box which I think cost slightly more than a 6 speed. |

wow i rang a few garages where i live and apart from this one with the stupid quote all said they cant do the belts / gearboxes due to special tooling requirements. i wasnt expecting it to be peanuts but not £3k haha.

just spoke to a guy here and quoted under 1k for both belts & mega flush. didnt get his name but he couldnt be more helpful. so fingers crossed the car is ok when i view it tomorrow ill be taking it to them... |

We are £550 for belts on a 3.0 494, or £675 on a 3.0 L320

Hi I had recently both my main belts timing high pressure tensioners plus serpentine belt done ,class B service transfer box and gearbox new oil and filter kit for gearbox £1400 at an Indiy I think the £3000 a bit over the mark lol . |

Yes that where I want to take it but unfortunately they are booked up till early September and I need to use the car regularly and don't fancy taking the risk I think I'll will just have to take the plunge and get it done at a dealer as nowhere else does it near me.. |

Is this now called riverside 4x4 centre? Just called them and told them I wanted a service as per manufacture specs for the warranty but they said they are no longer VAT registered so could cause problems as they state work must be done by vat registered garage. |
