My 2011 RRS L320 key fob battery is draining extra fast... every 2 weeks fast, which equates to approx 7 uses. So 5 batteries later and different possible solutions tried and failed, including keeping key away from chargers and other electrical devices.. keeping key in faraday pouch... cleaning the internals of the fob with alcohol, I thought it time to ask the oracle, namely, you lot, before the second mortgage inducing purchase of a new one from the stealers.

Funny you should say that. Yes, they were from Amazon and Duracell branded, so just now I have put proper one in and see how that goes. Thanks for your input |

got in touch with RRUK (many thanks), but he says it is probably the module at fault and unfortunately the dealer has monopoly on this item. Going to shop around different dealers. Not sure if I can play them against each other, but will give it a go |
