2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Coolant loss on 2.7

I'm suffering from some coolant loss on my 2.7. I know it's losing coolant so it's not the expansion bottle/sensor that's the issue.

Having a poke around I can see traces of coolant under the engine cover but wondering where it's likely coming from. Pic attached with the area coolant is collecting circled.

EGRs have been blanked for a while and it's only very recently started to lose as much coolant.

Any thoughts/ideas appreciated. Car is a 2008 2.7.

Possibly the thermostat housing having done a bit of research? Is that a common issue?

It was indeed the thermostat housing. Part number LR073372. Replaced it in just over an hour and no coolant loss today having driven 170 miles.
