Bit of an odd one.

This afternoon I turned on the ignition and started getting strange buzzing interference and clicking form the speakers. This was with the audio switched off.
Switching the radio on resulted in loud hissing and crackling from all stations on FM and DAB. Also does the same for anything from a USB. Sounds from the nav and voice control are also just buzzing crackly noises.

Had no problems before. It literally just randomly started this afternoon.
Also if I switch the radio on with the ignition on but the engine not running, then switch the radio off and turn off the ignition, the buzzing interference sounds continue with the ignition off and I have to switch it back on and then back off again to stop it.

Literally no idea at all what has happened.

Try Looking under the passenger seat, under the carpet floor cover, thats where the audio amp is, check for water ingress.

I changed the amplifier and it has been fine since.

Only just had time to check back on here.
Strangely the following day it was all o.k. again.
Although going by that thread I guess I could be seeing it happen again. So I'll probably still have a look when I get chance anyway. 2010 RRS 3.0 TDV6 HSE
