From the pics I've seen of the non-factory tints, none are as good as the factory option (obviously) and a job that isn't 100% really stands out in a bad way.

With non factory fit the 'wires' are visible. If you can get factory fit I would get them - they're much much better. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

So… to have factory fit, would mean to change the entire glass? Or do they have any other process? |

It would probably be cheaper to order a new motor than change all of the glass. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Indeed. But, yes... the factory fit option is tinted glass - not a film Not something you'd do retrospectively I don't think...

There is another option that isn't entirely legal. Get your dealer to fit a factory tint rear window, get the receipt and then claim on insurance for a chipped window. Buy 2 rear quarter light windows and get them fitted but get the film tints on the remaining windows.
