Compressor and ass comms issues

Hi guys
Got some major issues with my spare sport which my daughter is currently using.
2006 2.7 tdv6

First off the dreaded F comes up then the dash lights up like a Christmas tree!
It stays in whatever gear it’s in, suspension lowers EPB light comes on!
It’s still drivable in that gear.
Stop turn off ignition restart and they are all clear!
It may be ok for five mins ten mins etc then go through the same scenario!
I have bought myself a mongoose cable and SDD and it shows various fault codes that various modules throw up
All saying corrupt data received!
I thought can bus so started looking.
I found green corrosion between the can bus pins on the ecu behind the battery. Which I cleaned up but can’t really test the connections! So hoping they are ok!
Whilst it was idling I noticed that the new air suspension compressor was labouring I increased revs and it started to run better!
Let it idle again and the same labouring wuring noise again! I put a volt meter on the battery and the volts are dropping down below 12 and then going up to 13!
My conclusion is a bad alternator! It’s had a new battery two weeks ago when all this started!
Is it possible that a bad alternator could cause all these problems?
Thanks for comments and help in advance!

Yes. Low voltage can cause loads of issues

Only fit denso brand alternators. Others give problems.

You may want to check the 5A ALT fuse near the battery

My thoughts are that an alternator is rectified three phase AC!
If one phase is down then that would reduce the output current?

It was fitted with a replacement alternator from euro car parts before I bought the car!
So what make it is your guess is as good as mine! Current. 2010 3l TDV6 in Santorini Black

yeah, one of the diodes could have failed and it is no longer smooth voltage.

If its got an unknown brand then change it
