I’ve just taken out a warranty direct policy. Wasn’t hearing good reports from other companies. The list of things they cover seem very comprehensive too but time will tell how good they are if I make a claim. |

I think a lot of people will be watching with interest. They certainly were about the best for paying out, hope they continue that way under new ownership Joined the X5 45e club

I’ve just been through the service history on my car. The first service got done at 18k when it should have been 16k. Do they require proof of service history when you make a claim? Do you think they could use this a get out clause? |

There’s not a lot you can do before your ownership and it was under manufacturers warranty way beyond that so it would definitely be harsh Joined the X5 45e club

Mmm I may give them a call to verify. I do have a 14 day cooling off period so would be good to know now if any claims would be rejected due to this. |

Hi, just been on phone to these guys and you the policy holder has to make sure the car is serviced in the manufacturers recommendations and time scales from the date you take the policy out. I also have an email stating this but it actually says it somewhere in the small print. They highlighted the areas for me and sent via email. Also I thought the max payout per claim was £10k but its actually up to the cost of your car at the time of claiming which is good and if you sell the car you can transfer the warranty over to the new owner. |

Cost of the WD warranty? It would open up a few more options in my search if reasonable! |

It cost £957. You can also pay interest free over 12 month, just short of £80 a month |

I can definitely recommend WD...in 2018-2021 they covered just under £16,000 of claims for my RRS 2010 with no hassle....if the part is down as covered then they will pay...simple as that...even if you hear a squeaky bush and its not completely failed yet, they will still pay out lol RRS TDV6 2010 |

I have to say my experience with the Land-rover extended Warrantee has been really good. The guys there are helpful and on the odd occasion where it’s been a debate over what’s wear and tear, they have gone above and beyond. [/u] |
