Hi,
yes used something similar a number of times Thumbs Up
BUT
its for a trials bike, I think you would exceed the nose bar weight by some degree with a road bike on it Shocked

it can tow 3500kg but istr max load is 175kg (bit of guesstimate but a search would find it?)

Most just need to two bolt flange towball fitting

So the sexy Daytona is 184. This guy did it

I thought tongue weight was like 300kg or maybe a tad more

Looking up the manual its closer to 250kg as long as you haven't exceeded the gross vehicle weight

https://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/s...towing.pdf

the carrier itself is around 40kg. so i might make it Very Happy

Hi,
all could be good then Thumbs Up

you might have to be care full of rear axle load, watch how far from the rear bumper for the leverage effect and also that its far enough so the handle bars are not too near the rear screen.

I have an upright bar that the rear wheel sits against which I think is better than just the straps down to outriggers

I did make 2 box frames to fasten to the rear crash cans in the rear bumper of a Mini I had but when I put the bike on I think the Mini would have been pulling wheelies with ease Censored so that plan was cancelled Laughing

Picked mine up for 99p on an auction site Whistle you have to pick the bike up front wheel then back wheel, not so bad when its half your weight

Thumbs Up
