I think I need to ask someone where the rear view camera input goes on the system. Which box does it plug into?

The box under the drivers front seat on a 2013 car is the TV tuner, the Amp is behind the r/h side trim panel in the boot. The O.E module for surround cameras is under the passengers front seat, but as you don't have them it will not be there, the single rear view camera layout is very basic and as said feed goes to the front screen and is not controlled by any module.

Could you not wire them in as a separate system with a switch, the factory surround cameras on the RRS1 do not come on automatically and have to be activated via a touch screen icon and do not switch on when reverse engaged only the reversing camera. If you want the cameras to work all the time on the move forward you need to switch them on before you actualy move otherwise they switch off above a certain speed, I can't remember what speed as I rarely use mine, as they are not what could be described as "state of the art" but to be fair I suppose the technology for the original system is rather old and dated now by todays standards.
