Take it to a local reputable mechanic. Or better yet let your local Land Rover dealer thoroughly review it, time well spent. Have them print out the build sheet for you and service history - one hour labor is money well spent too. Vincit qui se vincit |

Hi. I am a little late to the party here but i fully endorse GT RRS advice to have it fully checked out. When i purchased my 10 yr old 2011 RRS privately i arranged with the seller to meet me at the nearest Land Rover dealership (luckily quite close) and i paid for a full inspection which also gave me a chance to look under the car as well. I understand this may not always be possible due to distance and the seller not being receptive etc but it does not hurt to suggest especially if you do have a nagging doubt. |

If the price is high like you stated and the engine is doing something that doesn't seem right compared to the one you have then just walk away.
