2005 2.7TDV6 RRS engine swop but shows engine fault

HI ive done an engine swop on a 2005 2.7tdv6 RRS, which came from a S-type Jag.

The engine starts and runs but comes up with engine system fault (no codes with cheap OBD) and runs rubbish, gets better when warm but i can stall it by tapping the throttle pedal. The engine was running perfect in the jag, the knackered range rover had thrown two conrods that had gone through the block.

Swopped the injectors incase they where coded but fuel pump, fuel rail, egrs are from the jag (same model codes) as i know they where good. Ive done a reset by holding battery cables together, tried jag injectors, cleaned Map sensor, cant find any air leaks. Any Ideas?

Sounds like it needs a vehicle reset with SDD?
