so the bastard keeps doing that it did seem to ice then this happened. it does it fairly randomly when the car is unlocked.

also my rear heated screen isn't working but am guessing thats due to the connector in the spoiler being . would the tailgate unlatching be related?

there was also a time when the tailgate switch didnt work, so could it just be a "stuck" switch?

bit of an update, seem to reliably do it on the engine turning on

So I would program the 3rd LR remote button to do the tail gate

Hold the LR button and then press the tailgate button. (it only does that for 1 key)
Check it works.

Then disconnect the taigate switch in the tailgate, to eliminate
See if it keeps happening

ive done same, think i could be accidently hitting it when turning engine on?

Pressing the Lr button when cranking ?

Ensure you don’t then for a bit

Does it even operate when key in ignition ?

ive tried not to tbh. and i think your right, it doesnt operate when in ignition so who knows whats what really.

Glass switches are trouble some and can easily be unplugged
