Now the mechanic have called and they cant find any fault, no codes etc but the car starts when they have it in the warm garage. What Will I do?

Sounds like a glow plug issue. One or more isn't working properly so the engine won't start when very cold. Either test/replace the glow plugs or fit a timer to the Fuel Burning Heater so that it runs for a while before you need to drive. Also results in warm air as soon as you get in. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Called land rover and they tought it would be the main fuel pump under the Hood.

I assume they have checked the glow plug fuses and relays, should be two of each, one for L/H bank and one for R/H bank in the engine bay fuse box.
