I'm chasing a wiring issue om my 2010 Facelift with the license plate lights not working, I've got hold of a original RRS wiring diagram but it's a bit different on the facelift with connector numbers etc, I've hunted high and low and can find nothing

That's a awful lot of diagrams, nearly 300 pages in total for the facelift, although a lot will be the same for both the MY10/11 and later MY12/13. I think the main differences will be the Infotainment circuits/interface. Did you want anything specific?

Hi Col, sorry I totally forgot to look at the RRSL320WSM2006.pdf file for the wiring diagrams I'm currently looking into my forward alert sensor issue and wanted to check the diagram prior to physically looking at the RRS.

Would there be much of a difference using these diagrams comparing to the facelift ones ?

If it isn't working by any chance, are you sure it isn't turned off in the set up menu.

its a strange one, if I activate it in the menu, near enough every trip using crusie control I'll get a warning that there is an issue with the forward sensor and it kills cruise until I cycle the ignition. If I don't activate it and use cruise, I then get the same fault but not on every journey using cruise. The errors are (taken from an older scan):

CCM-Cruise Control

C1A67-96 - Forward looking sensor - Component failure - internal failure (28 )
( on 25-03-2023 18:49:59 at 86620 mi )

U0401-81 - Invalid data received from engine control module/powertrain control module - Bus signal/message failure - invalid serial data received (28 )

I don't know for certain, but I'm inclined to think that one code is causing the other, the radar modules are in a different position between the 05/09 and 10/13 cars, I also think I would be reluctant to assume the earlier vehicle wiring is the same as the later cars but it is a possibility. I assume the module wiring will come under the speed control section of the diagrams but not totally sure, I do have some diagrams here and will have a look to see what I can find.
