Hello, I've owned my sport for 5years now, it's a 2006 tdv6, currently on 172000 miles, I've never had any serious issues with her and I look after her and she's never let me down, I'm ok on the tools but my problem is usually finding the problem and once found knowing what I need.

Ok I have diesel leaking from the metal pipe union that goes to a injector, I'm not sure if there is a seal in that end, I have found the pipe online and it comes within 1 seal but not sure which end it's for.

If I loosen the union will diesel flood out? Is this a tricky job which is best left to a specialist because I could break something?

On a UK car passenger side back injector is that number 6?
