Only half heated windshield works

Hi Guys

Currently trying to fix problem with my heated windshield. Only driver side works...
List of what I checked:

1. Both fuses are OK
2. Voltage on both fuses is battery voltage - around 12,7 V
3. I disassembled both A pillar inside trims and checked voltage on cables which are connected to windshield . Driver side - around 11V and passenger side only around 5V.

Do you have any idea why there is only 5V on non working passenger side ?

Regards Oskar

sounds like you have a poor joint/connection between the fuse and windscreen.

I'd remove the fuse and refit to be sure it isn't a poor conection on one end.

Early models appear to have a ~4 pin connector with purple wires (by the A pillar)

Dear Andy

You are right , fuse was very loose in socket, I "crushed" socket pins and now I have almost 14 V on windshield connector.
But still passenger half does not heat Sad Probably windshield has to be replace.
I just wonder why whole half does not work ? On driver side I have two or three "dead paths".
It is almost impossible that every path is broken on passenger side...

I have two connectors for each half, one black and one violet-gray each side which are connected to tape type wire.

Unfortunately this connectors are not decomposable...

Do you know what resistance should be between windshield connectors?
