United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue
Rrs 2010 tdv8 ace issues

Hi there 3 months ago I bought a 3.6 tdv8 sport got a couple wheeks use out of it then the horrors kicked in.
It developed a leak in rear ace pipes got them sorted then 2days later it blew a hole in the rear arb casing.
Changed rear arb then it tried to pull the rear right wheel down to the wheel arch then blew a front pipe apparently.
Fluid ran low and killed the pump.

Its a 2010 with dynamic response
Im getting rather sick of garage bills for this and that for something Iv done less then 500 miles in.

Is there any way I can do away with the hydraulic rollbars and fit normal ones as all I see listed is for 2005 to 2009.

Im well aware il probably get some stick for asking this but im fully gutted not being able to use it and really don't trust all this hydraulic roll bar thing now.

Will this work for a 2010? What about programming is it the same as early ones?
Cheers

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The TDV8 never had the non-hydraulic bars which is why that system is advertised as being for the 2.7 (which did come with standard bars).

As the TDV8 lump is heavier than the 2.7, I'd be surprised if sticking standard bars on it didn't make it rubbish. Also, you'd have to sort out the belt and tensioner because the TDV8 always had the hydraulic pump fitted so there's no other system normally available.

Did you buy this vehicle from a garage? I'd be taking it back and demanding they sort it or give me my money back.

Are you using a LR specialist to dot he work? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
