Front to rear brake pipes mot failiure
Hi all, I am after some advice please....(aren’t we all 😢)
unfortunately my 3.0 2010 rrs failed it’s mot last week with excessively corroded brake pipe. I have just managed to get underneath and have a good look...
It appears they are corroded from just after they come out from behind the Center exhaust box heading to the rear end and looks like I need to remove the exhaust including the Center box to get at them as they are routed behind the heat shield.
I am after conformation that this is the case and if so I will probably find a local garage to sort it as it will too much hassle to sort on the drive with just axel stands
On a positive note, if you haven’t got one already I would put a creeper on your present list, why I never bothered before is unthinkable lol soooooo much easier to get under.... 😃😃

Is it worth the hassle,, not sure if mines exactly the same as yours but mine failed on brake pipes 12 months ago. Cost a shade over £300 I think and that was for front to back pipes and rear cross axles,,, and MOT. Couple of hours or so and job sorted.2010 RRS, TDV8
