VA got further than the Def110 which managed to bury itself and had to be towed out backwards - considering hardly any of the D3's had a go at it at all, VA deserves a whole load of respect IMO Bow down

Yes but the 110 struggled in the ruts on the first day that my D3 on very worn road tyres managed no problem, not on MTRs. It is exactly the sort of surface that a TR equipped car will out perform. But fair play to anyone who uses their car fully and I hope we will see more RRS out on future trips.

it was a tough section in fairness to everyone who had a go at it - more speed and hence a bit more sump/axle protection would be in order to gaurantee it I guess

Well we could organise another RRS one. Would need a few cars with winches though. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

now there's the perfect excuse to get yours sorted. To be honest the winch was a bit overkill for this weekend really - it just made rescuing people a little easier

When we first did the Salisbury days we didn't have winches, tbh that was the worst I have seen Salisbury (although the recce was worse)
