Hi All,
Having a silver Sport I didn't want to fit the standard black rails, so have been
looking for silver/grey ones, I have found a couple but looks like they are from
the same seller on that well known auction site.

does anyone have these fitted that can share a pic or three and give a review on
them, so they fit well? do they discolour?

or any other info would be greatly appreciated

I guess the fitting instructions would be similar to these



Mine being the 2012 it will already has the three holes in the drain cover with the removable covers?

If they fit the same as a genuine L/R kit you will still have to drill the the three holes larger, 19mm if I remember correctly.

I bought a set of aftermarket rails, broadly identical to those you note, there was no drilling needed as the hole sizes were perfect...... getting the plastic bungs out of the holes in the roof of the car was the most time consuming part.

Finally got round to doing this job,
Took about an hour with the help of
the Mrs..
The 6 black grommets came out much easier than expected,
I did purchase some new tools to help, I also hat to cut down the
rear bolt as it was too long, ,But it was not too bad a job,

What do you think?
honest opinions welcome..

They look almost unnoticeable against your body colour and it sits well. I've got the other solid type fitted and they're a great resource to have fitted ready to go.  2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Hi, I know this was some time ago now but do you remember where your silver roof rails from? Im wanting to buy for me silver rrs as well.
