I have a 2012/62 facelift and have the choice of 5084 alloys with Pirelli Scorpion all season 255 55 20 or Stormer alloys with GG AT3's with 275 40 20. Now the AT3's have 9mm left on each tyre and the Pirellis are brand new and I know will be more comfortable, which would fit the look of the vehicle given it's age. Any help appreciated as I need to make a decision today. |

What use are you putting the vehicle through? If you only ever drive on tarmac, get the Pirellis. If you want to go out and about off road, get the AT3s. That's really the important question and answer.

Thanks guys, looks like I may have missed the Pirelli option and I am on 255 55 19's at the moment but need replacing very soon. I think it's no more off roading for me so GG's are an over kill unless I just run them through this winter and take a risk with 40 sidewalls. |

I have 255 55 20 on mine. I'm with Wayne that a deeper sidewall looks better on a 4x4 and a bit more purposeful. But yes, it's personal preference.

Awesome. It'll be good to see some pictures with the 5084 style wheels on the L320 Kev

255/55/19, not 255/55/20? The Michelin Cross Climate SUV is available in 255/55/19. A decent all year tarmac tyre - a summer tyre with a full winter rating. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Hi RRSTDV8, the Michelin Crossclimate. is available in the 20” size and could have been a contender but these wheels came up with new Scorpions fitted by Landrover so a no brainier really. |

Do these fit to the standard 20” wheels that have 275 40 tyres on or would I need to get narrower wheels? |

I think your wheels will be 9j rims and I'm pretty sure 225 tyres need the 8j rims but quote me I'm sure body with a lot more knowledge and credibility will be along shortly. |

Land Rover fitted 275 section tyres to 9.5" wheels, and 255 section tyres to 8.5" wheels.
