Meridian Audio with no underseat sub?

I have a 2017 RRS Autobiography with the Meridian system. I want to locate the subwoofer and believed it was located under the front seat (drivers side in UK), however upon lifting seat up the amplifier is under there (the amp is Prem16 with a code as per image below). I checked the other side hoping it was there and its not??! I have another module that side which looks like the FM/DAB/TV receiver. Any ideas? I know there are bass speakers in the doors. Images attached....

First image is under drivers side:

I have a 2016 AB with the signature meridian system. There is s speaker in the dash.

But I thought it was under footwell floor...when.playing a track with heavy base I fell the base vibrations travelling up through my feet ss if it is the sub is under the footwell floor.

Well I spoke to Land Rover who sent me the audio layout and diagram and my sub is actually in the boot right at the back near the battery. Although mine is a late Dec 2016 it fell into the MY2017 so has the later Meridian setup rather than all the clips on youtube which are the earlier ones!

Now to get wiring my LOC in and install my sub!

What was the layout like ? A diagram etc ? Can you share ?

I just brought an RRS HSE 2017 but the build sheet says "Meridian(TM) Sound System" but the speakers are unbranded. It does have speaker in dash, three in each door and there must be some more Smile I assume its the base spec and there are another two versions on top ?

I’d take no notice of build sheet - from Topix?

You’ve got eight speakers. Two in each door. The other grilles are just that - little holes with nothing underneath. 🙂

JLR cheapskates if they are just grilles. At least they hadnt used to pretend...

Here is the layout they sent me and I have checked every speaker and they are all there on mine, not just the grills!

Tapped into the sub wires just the other side of the plug that the sub connects to (same colours as the pre-2017), plugged into my LOC, gave the LOC power/ground and RCA leads from the LOC to the Rockford Fosgate amp and off it goes, works perfectly! Very pleased!
