Some of my previous LR vehicles didnt take well to being hooked up to trailers with LED lights. Does anyone have experience of how my 2014 l494 with factory fitted tow bar and 13 pin electrics will fare?

I fitted a towbar to my 2017 RR Sport and also fitted the electrics on offer for 13 pin socket that included an additional item for led lights,all works well and was easy to fit.

I specified specifically LED capability when getting mine fitted from North West Towbars recently. Think its just an extra module on the wiring or something and was only like extra £20 or something.

I had issues on my 2005 X5 towing a trailer with LED lights so I bought an external module to fix it. It was the simplest solution and it just lived on the trailer. I simply plugged the trailer harness in to the module, then the module to the car.

Think it was about £80. Worked perfectly after I tried splicing resistors in to the lights etc which was just a waste of time.

I'll be selling the unit soon though as I no longer need it with the MY17 RRS.

Yes, i have them and i used the 15 euro 13 pin tester as I have to terminal a plus 13 pin plug should work no problem

led wiring for sure will be differentcolor however plenty info on the youtube
