I have a range rover sport 2015 HSE Dynamic 3.0 SDV6.
Last week 2 tyres were slashed while it was on the driveway. I had the tools so I backed it up took each wheel to the shop and changed the tyres.
After changing both tyres the key fob stopped working and the car is locked.
I thought it was the battery so I went to Timpsons and got it changed but still not working.
So I thought maybe jacking it up activated some lock on the key fob so I opened it manually as you do with the physical key and the alarm blares. I go to deactivate it by putting the fob below the wheel BUT I drive with my steering wheel quite inside and so the area to place the key fob is obscured by the surrounding trim.
Now I have very very expensive parking spot holder.

Does anyone have any solutions?

Don’t you have a spare key? If that doesn’t work then it’s unlikely both keys have failed simultaneously. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB
