I’ll take an RRS, I personally think it’s very ugly. Each to their own! I’m sure others will think it’s a great design! 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Harry loved it bar the brakes.

The row of gearbox buttons along the top of the dash is even more annoying than JLR's rotary dial.

Silly price. I'm sure it's an excellent steer but for that money you could get an SVR and a nice 911... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

One of those, which I presume was pre production? Passed me on the M40 last month.
Not pretty at all, looks like several different sections of car thrown together?
Not that it would ever be an option as I could not afford one.

2013 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 Baltic Blue

I have to say, they drive absolutely brilliantly and are a completely different animal to the RRS, even in SVR guise.
They don't compete with the practicality, off road ability or raw driving experience of the SVR / RRS, but I don't see that as it's main market in reality.

In my eye, it's an alternative to a GT car, in a world that wants the comfort / power of a GT, but in the moderately more practical shape of an SUV. And yes, the AM badge is always a win.

Full disclosure....Yes, I am biased, as I have one on order as a (part) replacement for my 9 month old Continental GT, which I have come to dislike.

But I'm looking forward to having it in the stable.... and the RRS & SVR are not going anywhere! Thumbs Up Now

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

Looks like a Ford Focus on steroids & simply hasn't got the class of earlier Astons.

Aston suffer the same issue that Porsche suffer with their SUVs. Take the signature elements of your sports car and scale them up on to a big lump of a body and it looks weird. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

I saw one in the village of Llantwit Major near Rhoose in February under test, to be honest i agree with
Col, it did not look any different from any other Jap/Korean SUV, only the AM badge gave it away.

The next day HRH Charles visited and opened the new Aston Martin factory at Saint Athans
which is adjoining the village Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

To be fair, this is a decent argument, providing you are happy with the base version of each with very few toys. Shocked

I collected my DBX the other week and its a lovely car, yes, the looks are marmite, but I quite like it. Its certainly no match for an SVR for capability and theatre (and I'd never view it as a replacement) but I'll enjoy it for 6-9 months and then sell it for what I bought it for. Thumbs Up Now
