Hi all,

My Range Rover sport 06 TDV6 has developed a very annoying and loud squeak.

As soon as I start I turn the steering wheel, whilst on the move the squeak is heard.
If Im sat still turning left to right it doesn't make a sound.

I've jacked it up, checked for any play in bushes and wheel bearings, nothing found.
Even spinning the wheel by hand whilst having someone steer, the squeak doesn't show its face.

Any one had anything like this before? Sound is definitely coming from the front.

Iv got the exact same problem, did u ever find the issue?

Disc backing plate rubbing on the disc? Kev

MY2014 L405 RR Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 in Corris Grey
MY2010 L320 RRS HSE 3.0 TDV6 in Stornoway Grey

It was the metal brake pads clips, ever so slightly touching the disc..
Remove brake pads, central the metal pad clips on the carriers, refit.
