United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Bonatti Grey
LR Warranty Claim Rybrook

So abit of drama.

Had the lower suspension arms replaced 09/2018 on my RRS 2010..16k miles later at a full service (LR specialists) on 04/20 I’m told the lower arms are knocking and got it booked into Rybrook LR for warranty claim.

So dropped it off yesterday and they apparently checked everything and there was no play in the arms but slight play in the antiroll bar D bushes (they are still covered under warranty too but not enough to replace)

I said when I come to collect I would demo the fault in the car park while a technician stood outside due to covid etc, demo for him and he was surprised but didn’t say much, told me someone would be in touch to get me re booked.

When harshly applying brakes theres deffo a knock and also slight shimy/movement in the steering wheel.. (brakes are brand new and not warped) Im applying the brake from like 5mph due to in the car park.

Been asked to bring it down tomorrow again to demo it. Censored Censored take and waste of my time.. was meant to be travelling in it to France in 2 weeks.. put off now lol... anyone ever had any dealing with RYBROOK and any advise on how to proceed? RRS TDV6 2010 Smile

Not with Rybrook but had exactly this with Stratstone Nottingham when we bought our RRS - test drove the car and picked up the fault - still there when we went to collect it and had front disks changed - still an issue two weeks later and had arms and discs and pads changed under warranty. Its a never ending cycle of Censored with near all dealers I'm afraid 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers)
2000 D2 TD5 - definitely mine

It's exactly what I would expect from a LR dealership "service" department. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Interested in this one, as have similar issue normal driving/braking no knocks no nothing, but just drive out the garage slow and brake a bit sharp and it knocks, haven't noticed steering wheel movement though has recently had front lower arms, front discs and pads as well. Local indi put it on the ramp and couldn't see anything obvious, but did but did agree there was a slight knock. Due for service next month so he will check it out with a bit more depth then. Will post any updates, definitely sounds from the front so have new set of upper arms, roll bar buses and drop links ready. Laughing

Cheers
Col
