After numerous recommendations from this wonderful group, I eventually listened and went to a local indy - have to say, I was very impressed with Roy and the Team at Langley 4 x 4.

Easy to book the car in to a slot that worked for me. Work carried out was an interim oil and filter change to address oil dilution. Online service history updated, waited with the car for about an hour, lovely coffee shop on the high street (recommended by Natalie at reception), met members of the team who worked on the car (ex. LR).

Needless to say, I'll be returning for my May 2022 7 year service which will include the belt change.

Also learned that they are an LR recommended dealer, so can address warranty issues via the LR extended warranty scheme too.

About £170 inc VAT which included checking the software. Main dealer wanted £250 MY16, 3.0D HSE Dynamic, Barola Black, TV, Rear Entertainment, Opening Pan Roof, Meridian

Exactly the same experience for me.

They checked my car and it was at 7% so they changed the oil and filter for me on the spot. Waited an hour and job done.

Got a pig sandwich from the High Street while I waited - bonus !!

Awesome - loved the artisan coffee shop on the highstreet - a much better environment than the LR dealer waiting area.

Glad to hear all sorted - will be booking my next service (major with belt change) for May 2022.
