Took me 2 hours to do all 4 on mine Col.The L494 are slightly easier not having the internal park brake.Ive kept a eye on the dust situation & their is hardly any on the fronts with the Hawk high performance low dust with a months driving but I’m going to have to try find some low dust for the rears as the ferrodo pads give off a fair bit.

Andy, am trying these Orange Stuff EBC pads, front and rear's say they are low dust but time will tell, there not actualy type approved in the EU though, something to do with the way the lining is attached to the metal back plate I believe, perfectly legal here though and being EBC don't really see a problem, mind you UK's no longer in EU anyway. Will take me a bit longer as doing park brake shoes etc. while I'm at It, have to change a torn dust cover boot on one of the front brembos as well so might do all of them, probably give the rear calipers a coat of paint as well, the red paint on the rears always was pretty crap.

I do have some Foliatec Rosso Red two pack caliper paint here but been in the cupboard for nearly 4 years so may not be any good although never been opened, unfortunately not much choice on stuff like that down here as can't ship it in air freight..

Made a start on this with the caliper dust boots, really easy to change just have the piston out a little way, lever out old boot and press new one in, did have a moment at first as thought they had sent wrong boot kit as first one was different size but for some reason all three pistons are a different diameter, so if anybody else doing them just look at the number on the old boot will either end 44, 45 or 46 two of each in the kit, top piston 46, middle 45 and bottom one 44. Also noticed with the EBC pads the little locating lugs for the anti squeal shim actualy push against the dust cover when fitting the pads until the pad is right home and looks like it might be possible to cut/tear the boot when fitting them if not careful.
