Unfortunately LR didn’t design the boot with remote close, it required the pressing of the button on the boot which was a missed opportunity in my opinion. They could have had the gesture closing boot well ahead of their competitors! I bought a gadget off eBay which means I can close it from the key fob or the dash button and I reckon it would be easy to retrofit a gesture closure sensor. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Hi Brit, care to elaborate on your remote close setup? I'm surprised with the 2012 tailgate retrofit being so popular there isn't more info on getting the button close wired up. I've got some wiring and a connector sat there taped up in the void. Frustrating. |
