United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey
noise from the front

Hi,

I have a problem which is driving me mad.
There is a noise coming from the front; I think the drivers side.
It is a muffled soft kind of knock which is only noticeable at low speed; let's say between 10-20mph.
I occurs when you steer slightly to the left, if you pull back to centre you don't hear this.
If you steer slightly to the right you don't hear it, but coming back to centre you do.
On the straight on a motorway it pulls very slightly to the left.
There are no vibrations or other noises and I have not noticed any abnormal wear on the tyres.
Front lower suspension arms have been replace 6 months ago as these were worn out.
No signs of wear on the hydraulic anti roll bar and everything else looks in good order.
In full steering lock to one side the end point feels solid like it should, to the opposite side if feels 'soft' if that makes any sense.

Local Land Rover garage is struggling to find a cause.

Any helpful idea would be enormously appreciated.

Kind regards,

Fonz
