Good memory Tim! I had one of the early Urus when launched and drove it for a week and sold it for £15k above list. Then bought another cancelled order and enjoyed it for around 9 months and sold it 9k miles later back to the dealer for what I paid for it who sold it at a premium. Immense cars, totally different animal from an SVR. The way the thing handled defied physics!

Thanks for the link, it makes an SVR or an AB look possible. Looks like some of the prices come from land rover dealers and other from finance companies I’ve never heard before. What are the pitfalls in dealing with these outfits? What happen if they go bust? |

Lol...yup had me laughing too. Guess its all relative to ones disposable income.....someone having a few grand disposable income will think 800/mth is cheap as opposed to someone with say a few hundred to say 1500 disposable 8ncome will consider loosing 20+ k a year as huge...which in all honest it is alot of money. My cousin is lawyer and has significant property portfolio....and he showed me Rolex for 5k...goes to me its a "cheap" Rolex....said you earn 15+ a month...its cheap for u...keep it in perspective |

Hi sorry out of curiosity, how does this leasing works? Just pay the said amount and drive the car for next 2 years and return when done? Regardless of mileage and condition of the Car? |

You'll have an agreed mileage, anything over that and you pay an additional sum per mile. Condition has to be kept as good as possible, you would get charged for any scratches/dents/dings etc |

I see...is like long term car rental. So that rule out modification of any sort or enhancement. |

Basically yes. You don't own it, you're just renting it for a set period of time. I've heard a story that someone changed an exhaust on a Cupra 290 (SEAT) and they got a bill for an OEM exhaust when they returned the car which was thousands! |

you can do modifications, you just need to get the finance companies permission, towbars, wraps, wheels are common requests apparently |
