any recommendation on which after market sat nav to fit

hi all
my 2010 rrsport can only be updated to 2014 maps for a cost of £240 at lr . was thinking of putting in an after market system can anyone suggest anything to help. not a tom tom.

Its horses for courses I suppose but I just added this carrier to the top of my dashboard and my iPhone sits in there with Waze or Google Maps running. Bang up to date, with live traffic, and no ongoing cost.

Not as neat as an integrated system but I do have both maps and the LR suspension info available at the same time. And connected to my sound system via one of these Kinivo thingies (there are probably better options available) which you can see mounted bottom right

Similar here. I have one of these little magnet mounts on the air vent to the left hand side of the steering wheel.

I just pop the phone on it whenever I get in the car. When the phone connects to the Bluetooth, it automatically fires up Android Auto and I just use Google Assistant by talking to it eg. "Okay Google, take me home" or "Okay Google, call Fred". It then just opens Google Maps and starts navigating or makes a call etc. Kev
