Brake hoses recomedations

Well it's getting to that time of year where I don't mind working in the garage, so I'm looking to fit my new six pot calipers. Thinking whilst I'm doing that it might be worth replacing the front brake hoses. Checking online I can either go for original or either Bearmach or Britpart, which are half the price of OE parts, has anybody any experience with either of the none OE suppliers, would be interested in anybody's thoughts. Cheers

The OEM hoses are cheap enough not to warrant using own brand items, IMHO Thumbs Up

Not found a set if braided hoses that fit well yet Rolling Eyes

Generally with aftermarket brake hoses they are never made by the vendor.
For example Terrafirma braided hoses are made by Goodridge but down specced from what Goodridge sell on their own and are happy to put their name to.

Earls performance make for other manufacturers too but I'd only ever buy direct from them as the fittings are so much higher spec for the same price.

Another good example is intercooler silicone hoses - there's nothing wrong with the hose as such but if you buy it Bearmach branded for £75 it doesn't have an oil proof membrane but if you buy it from the manufacturer its £75 with an oil proof membrane 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers)
2000 D2 TD5 - definitely mine
