MY2010+ Exhaust Tips
For us with MY2010+ diesels, we don't have nice shiny exhaust tips like the supercharged folk. Also, for us with DPFs and therefore straight exhausts, the choice of model specific exhaust tips is very limited.
I've wanted some chrome or stainless exhaust tips for a while but I'm not keen on the Hawke ones because not only are they very expensive for what they are (£80 when on sale, £160+ when not ), I am not keen on how they look when viewed from the side of the vehicle.
As you can see in this image, the Hawke tips stick out from the rear bumper further than standard and also the overall diameter reduces half way along between the tip and the rear silencer. In my opinion, this looks a bit fake and is not to my taste.

So after a bit of Googling around last week for some 65mm tips, I found these on Amazon priced at £15 for the pair...
They arrived today and out of the box, they wouldn't fit due to the four lugs on the inside...

So, I ground off the two bottom lugs...

Now they fit perfectly with a nice, tight fit and I'm completely satisfied with the look...

They'll probably need polishing every now and again with some Autosol, but for £15 I think these are a bit of a bargain!Kev
