& don’t use it on plastic panels,I did & found it went beyond the paint,luckily it was the removing the sticky pads that hold the rear number plate so it’s hidden when plate went back on. Andy.

Good old fashioned paint thinners and a micro fibre rag will dissolve the glue behind pretty quick with out destroying paints (most are water based now anyway I think) the wheel is fine I guess but needs a low speed otherwise like others have said you can burn the paint or heat it u enough to move/smudge it and it wont polish out!
