Michelin Tyres

I have been looking at the Michelin CrossClimate SUV tyres as i don’t want to be changing tyres twice a year now my health is getting worse, most of my mileage is on the road and these seem to cover all bases. Have run GG AT,s in the past and have been really happy with them but wondering if feel they are a bit over the top for my use now. Any comments appreciated regards Andy.

I haven't used them on my RRS but we have the car version on our Skoda Octavia estate and they've been good. We put a fresh set on just at the start of winter (which is why there has been so little snow about! Laughing )

On the car, they're quiet, seem to drive nicely (haven't tried "pushing on" as it's not really the car for it), work well in both the wet and dry.

They'll be better in every aspect on road compared to the GG AT, that's for sure. If you don't go off road, the AT is probably pointless and just uses extra fuel and makes more noise for no benefit. It won't be as good in an emergency stop compared to a road tyre either. Nor as good in wet weather. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Totally agree with what you have said, off road wise i'm thinking moving the caravan around on site at the most (if it moves this year) so nothing great. Seriously thinking this is the way i'm going.
