L494 SPARE WHEEL WELL

does anyone have any tips on what might be causing this everyone should check there l494 , every time it rains spare wheel well is wet , or has anyone had this problem ,not common ,main carpets,side carpets,all dry

I would start by looking at the rubber lining of the tailgate? --
