[Wanted] Centre console wood trim

I'm after a replacement passenger side wood trim for the centre console because mine has a scratch on it. It's the dark brown, anigre wood with a gloss finish and not the lighter one.

If anyone has one for sale, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi

I had a Mer*ed*s with wood trim and that has a scratch on the console, which I actually managed to polish out with T cut and cutting polish. Basically there was so much lacquer on it, there was a enough to cut back without going down to the grain of the finish.

Have you tried cutting back your scratch to see if that works?? might be worth trying.

Pete

I haven't actually, Pete. I'll give it a whirl - thanks! Kev

Hi Kev

Just go carefully and gently with the polish. If its too deep it might not work but if the scratch has just taken some lacquer off then it might work like it did on my car.

I used T cut and a Halfords cutting paste which came in a yellow tube, bit of mutton cloth and a lot of patience!

Pete
